Volunteer

Volunteering with the LBHF brings lots of benefits:

  • You feel good about helping to protect the legacy of the area;
  • You meet other people in the community who share your interests;
  • You learn about the lake’s past, present and future;
  • You still have lots of time to enjoy your cottage or home!

We need volunteers to sit on the Board or Committees (Natural Heritage, Built Heritage, Fundraising). Meetings are usually five or six times per year. Work can be done on your own schedule. Our Board is composed of a mix of permanent and seasonal residents. Meetings are held in one of our homes.

To learn more, please telephone Mark McLean at (416) 944-0631 or (705) 635-3239 (July and August) or E-mail at info@lakeofbaysheritage.ca
