Karl Jaffary Receives Heritage Award
Karl is shown holding one of the heritage building plaques given at the LBHF Annual Meeting in August. Karl has authored a history booklet of the Bona Vista community on the lake, and published by the LBHF. Karl is a Life Member and dedicated supporter of heritage protection. Congratulations!
Our Results
- One mile of natural shoreline and 47-acres of forest at Port Cunnington preserved.
- Encouraged the Township to create a Heritage sub-committee of Council.
- 100-acre parcel of land acquired near Dwight on the Lower Oxtongue River with 5.5 KM of shoreline.
- More than two dozen buildings recognized for heritage value.
