If you wish to attend:
Please email us at registration@lakeofbaysheritage.ca by Monday, August 10 if you wish to attend. Given that this is the first time we are holding our AGM on Zoom, it will be very helpful to have a good idea of whom to expect and the total number of attendees. If you confirm your interest in attending, you will receive a link to join the meeting.

If you are unable to attend:
If you are unable to attend the meeting, and still wish to have your vote recorded on the matters to be voted on at the meeting, please complete and return the proxy form. To be valid, completed proxies must be received by the Foundation, by Monday,  August 10 at 5:00 p.m., at registration@lakeofbaysheritage.ca.  Download the proxy form in the LBHF AGM 2020 folder.

Please note:

  1. Due to COVID-19, the previously announced date for our AGM, of 15 August 2020, had to be changed.
  2. The Wahawin community history was to be featured. Due to COVID-19, the community will be featured at our 2021 AGM.
  3. The documents to be brought before the meeting can be viewed in the LBHF AGM 2020 folder. You are encouraged to read all of these documents prior to the meeting.  These documents are:
    • Agenda
    • Minutes of AGM of 2019 for formal approval,
    • President’s Report,
    • Financial Statements and the External Accountant’s Report,
    • Slate of Directors to be elected (see list on the Agenda). Note, given the two-year term, not all Directors are up for election this year.  A call for any other nominations will be made at the meeting.
    • Proxy Form
  4. To make the meeting manageable, all participants except the current speaker will be muted.  A member will be able to ask a question by typing in a question in a manner described at the start of the meeting.

    • To accept the Minutes of the AGM of 2019.

    • To accept the Financial Statements and the External Accountant’s Report.
    • To elect the directors named in the proposed slate for election.
