Marsh's Fall Book Walk

Discover This Year's Book Walk at Marsh's Falls Nature Reserve

Each summer, the Marsh's Falls Nature Reserve
Book Walk features a new children's story for families to enjoy while exploring the forest. This year's selection is I Hear You, Forest by Kallie George, illustrated by Carmen Mok, and published by Greystone Kids.

The Book Walk begins at the Education Centre, where each page of the story is displayed along the forest trail. As you walk from page to page, children are invited to slow down, observe, and discover the sights and sounds of the natural world around them. It's a wonderful way to combine reading, movement, and time in nature.

I Hear You, Forest gently reminds us that the more we listen, the more we learn. Through its lyrical storytelling and beautiful illustrations, the book encourages children, and the adults who share it with them, to develop a deeper appreciation for the forest and all living things.

The Book Walk is a fun, self-guided activity for families, grandparents, educators, and young explorers. Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning to enjoy the reserve, we invite you to follow the Book Walk, discover the story as it unfolds along the trail, and experience the forest in a new way.

To help us protect this sensitive nature reserve, all visitors are asked to register before visiting. Registration is free and takes just a moment to complete.

We hope you'll visit Marsh's Falls Nature Reserve this summer and discover the magic that happens when stories and nature come together.
